With temperatures rising and summer in full swing, you may not be thinking of anything Fall related just yet. At the Glass Room, however, we are! Fall Weddings are a big hit in south Louisiana as the weather is ideal. Evenings are cooler and Louisiana’s 2nd round wedding season kicks off around September!
The Glass Room has been hosting weddings in its venue for years and has stayed on top of trends as they pop up. We’ve researched and picked our favorites for this Fall Season!
TOP 3 FALL 2022 SUMMER TRENDS
Bridgerton / Pop Culture Inspired Weddings
–Pop Culture never fails to leave its mark on weddings and wedding trends. Think blue tones, puffed sleeves, bows, and dramatic decorations. Romance and drama and royalty are the themes of this trend and we are here for it!
Styling Tip: Make the most of the Regency era and use inspo with empire-waist gowns, square necklines, delicate antique accessories and dainty tiaras.
Decor Tip: Think tea parties in London, crystal chandeliers, teardrop designs, flowers, and antique decor.
Rust Wedding Color Palette
–Another trendy wedding detail to come into 2022 is Rust and Bohemian Vibes. Rust weddings are full of earthy tones and monochromatic rich colors. This trend is perfect, too, for those that love anything RETRO.
Styling Tip: Rust is all about unconventionality and being hip. Use colors like blush, orange, and rust for bridesmaid dresses and choose flowy gowns with full skirts, puff sleeves, and floral elements that go well with this wedding trend.
Decor Tip: Stick with the same colors and use a bit of reckless abandon with decor for flowers, table settings, and decorations. Throw in some black or white as neutrals and for contrast.
